Superman Vs Reality

Suppose nothing else were "given" as real except our world of desires and passions, and we could not get down, or up, to any other "reality" besides the reality of our drives--for thinking is merely a relation of these drives to each other: is it not permitted to make the experiment and to ask the question whether this "given" would not be sufficient for also understanding on the basis of this kind of thing the so-called mechanistic (or "material") world?...
In the end not only is it permitted to make this experiment; the conscience of method demands it. Not to assume several kinds of causality until the experiment of making do with a single one has been pushed to its utmost limit (to the point of nonsense, if I may say so)... The question is in the end whether we really recognize the will as efficient, whether we believe in the causality of the will: if we do--and at bottom our faith in this is nothing less than our faith in causality itself--then we have to make the experiment of positing causality of the will hypothetically as the only one. "Will," of course, can affect only "will"--and not "matter" (not "nerves," for example). In short, one has to risk the hypothesis whether will does not affect will wherever "effects" are recognized--and whether all mechanical occurrences are not, insofar as a force is active in them, will force, effects of will.
Suppose, finally, we succeeded in explaining our entire instinctive life as the development and ramification ofone basic form of the will--namely, of the will to power, asmy proposition has it... then one would have gained the right to determine all efficient force univocally as--will to power. The world viewed from inside... it would be "will to power" and nothing else.

213AOE RANDOM STREET SIGNS

213AOE RANDOM

During my 5 In Retrospect show @ Rolling Stock Gallery in Fort Lauderdale I work on some street sign "Someone" just happened to have handy. I use my old 213A stencil to produce two images in reverse that we used in the restroom during the night of the show. This work was obviously given over to the sign owner, how shall remain nameless.
In April 2012 during a Rolling Stock Gallery show these peice came up again, and I have to say the installation of this art was amazing. Loved the use of chain and link fence. And to the person who owes this work. Congrates on the showing.....5......

Donated to the Taylor Family in memory of their Dad
I produced This mural work for Skiner T's Family. It was a respect. Work showing that no matter how small the encounter we can draw a huge    understanding of a person and their personality. You can learn a lot from a chance encounter. I learned a lot from this man. He was one that showed me respect and honor at the same time. Many people in this circle clashed with me, in retrospect I had a dislike for many. I can say without question he was a true brother. I'm honored to be able to produce a work for his family. His kids deserve to know how stand up their farther was. Much respect and much sadness. I wish your family the best and offer them my hand if they need it.....5......

Warhol’s film “Blow Job” spoke of a principle of early Soviet film theory, the “Kuleshov effect,” in which shots taken on different meaning depending on their juxtaposition with other images. Does this concept along with extra images form an alternative meaning? Does the use of the term “The End” or the image of an abstract tank form a military or war like design?

The Patan Diedrich Collection: The Beginning.....

I began drawing in more of a sketching illustration style, and I always used a sir name. Early in life that sir name was "Patan Diedric." The funnest thing is I can not even remember why I picked the name. I do remember it was a mix of two characters one from an existentialist story by Camus, or Satre, or Nietzsche, or etc etc etc, can't remember. and the other part completely escapes me. But at the time it was prolific. Everything is prolific at that age.....

Over time I began to creat some wheatpaste pieces with the sktches I completed when I was younger. This one I worked on at Multiversal 2009 Art Basel.....

Multiversal @ Art Basel 2009

Kazilla invited me to enter for her very first Art Basel event in 2009. The turnout was amazing for the distance for the "Basel" strip. I was very proud that Kazilla was able to develop such a geat event. From the entertainment to the gallery, she was a class act. I wish her the best and thank her for the opportunity, good luck in the future......

My "4lb Bag" piece I had hanging during the show, joined by many other talented and new artists. I was honored to be part of it.

One of several pieces I was working on during the duration of the Basel weekend. This one got alot of hype, the begining of my 213 series. I enjoyed working in public but in all I do not think live art is my thing. Might do it every once in a while but probably not so often. I will say I had the best time doing live art at this event, more so than any other live art event I have done.....5.....

Ukulele Festival donation 2010

My friend Ty Olopani and Mapuana Ebbitt asked me if I would be interested in donating a peice of art for their very first Ukulele Festival. I wanted to produce something that spoke of the festival and of course added a bit of 5 in the mix. I found an old frame, glass panel and cardboard insert and began to work something that would vibe with the festival. It's a mixture of my time space stencil and some hawiian inspired stencils I did for my brother-in-laws mural with my nephew. With some distressed paint on the glass and cardboard ribs showing through the paint, perfect.....

This work was raffle to the Gross Family and now hangs in Mr Gross' ukulele practice studio, enjoy.....5.....

ACCOLADE  2010
Enamel Paint, Aerosol Paint, & Ink on Stone
As seen on  Oxygen’s Bad Girls Club, Season  5, 2010
Curves and formations, the softness of the skin, even on hard and challenging surfaces , the finer lines of the human body show depth. On stone, which is porous, elements  absorb into the source, almost bleeding into it . But even with all these curves and all this beauty, it still remains flat, texture less, and shallow, with evidence of vanity.

I  pose a question, to better understand why human beings must suffer to advance.  Why is a scream sometimes for happiness or triumph? Why is a scream sometimes for pain and suffering? Do these two emotions have a connection or is this just  random.  We all come to a time where suffer plays a dramatic part in who we become and which direction we may travel…..

5G: @ BSO PALS

Thanks Luz Pla Angel for the Invite me to produce a piece for the BSO PAL clubhouse. I wanted to do something that focused on kids and also kept the urban vibe they were going for with the DJ section of the club. What a great space where kids can come an learn how to DJ in a safe clean environment. I also wanted to incorporate my G in the piece, so I laid out a bunch of stencil I cut of children, and had her pick and place them at will. The collage is a bit choppy, but its all G so that makes it perfect. I would say pretty good for her first painting placements, and my first 5G work. Maybe sometime i the future I will get to see her creativity shine brighter.....5.....

REBIRTH/ BUFF 2006
ACRYLIC PAINT & PRIMER ON CANVAS
When events happen and thing seem there dimmest , the human being has the ability to transform their lives simply by starting over.  Chaos and turmoil can be structured by the idea of rebirth or starting again. We see this as failure sometime but the truth is second changes are growth…..

The cities we build, the concrete jungle. What are these urban setting for? Currency, the monetary used in these cities for needs.  What needs do we really need this currency for? Or is it a way to segregate us into classes based on the currency we hold.  Well if this currency fails then what will we do as a culture…..remember the Romans…..

1000’s of songs have been written about it. That lovely comfort at the bottom of the bottle. That brown bag treat that makes so many Americans able to wake up in the morning. Is it a battle with in that keeps us coming back or something lesser. Is there a common medium or by the time your find it your body is  already to damaged. Deeper and deeper as we try to modify to our ever growing old self…...

Descent 2010

   DESCENT,  2010

Aerosol, acrylic, wood stain, & found objects on wood assemblage

In our culture good and evil or seen as polar opposites, enemies, the villain and the hero, but in truth good and evil are closer then thought and have very little divisions. One might even venture to say good and evil has different lines for almost every human being.  I pose a question, If by outpouring good one cause war, wouldn’t that introduce evil into the design?????

I utilize found object as symbols is contribute to the concept I'm trying to define. In this case a lock set to symbolize how we are made to lock "evil" away, swipe it under the rugs, or worse project it back on to others.

Here I utilize the same aspect in reverse by added a faucet to the angel to symbolize how evrything "good" can flow freely, even if it's all an illusion.

Good and evil are politics one is not better than the other, they are just two states of mind with different public options. At what point due we as humans understand everyone is entitled to what they find as life. No matter if it's positive or negative, right or wrong. These are the building of man, only cowards make statements to stop other progression.....5.....

My Muse: a collection of admiration for my wife.

It take a strong and patience woman to deal with the ever changing emotional baggage I call my life. I must admit my faults and defects make me unapproachable and sometime empty, yet she stands next to me and fights. She is the true statment of marriage, work, progression, and love. As an artist there is a way above and beyond anything anyone else can produce that I can. And that is my art, my concepts and emotions on surfaces for all to see and critic. Yes I can buy flowers, or dinner but this will last longer and bolder and maybe even be eternal, as we are after we took our vow......

She is perfect and real like nothing else. She is strong and bold, that sometime makes me angry and other times proud. She is individual, unique, beautiful and most of all mine.....

This collaboration work with 213AOE , is a conceptual acknowledgment of the Art of Exaggeration and the unbalance it has produced in history. This series is a collection of attributes that demonstrates our drive as humans for exaggeration and how technology has advanced this search into reality. Weather positive or negative the outcome of such a trend , it’s here and ever evolving growing more extreme and exaggerated as time permits …..

The Coalition on Homelessness, San Francisco 2012

A friend of mine Sean Murdock invited me to join anevent where I donated a peice of work to help the homeless. I choose this work because this work represents the strife people face with drug addiction and alcoholism. This is a much more difficult area of life than most understand.

I donated this peice because to represents the indiference of alocohol abuse. It's created with 4 lbs bags one would get when purchaseing a quart of beer so the issue to definant.

NEWERA Graf Expo sponsored by Rollin Stock & WeMerge 2011

An amazing event probabely the first of it's kind in Fort Lauderdale, an actual Graf event where the city just stepped back and let art be art. Of course only to a point. The one bad thing about Graf expos is that they leave the artist open to interpreation by the police. Letting office take name and numbers as if this form of art is like gangbanging or other victim related crimes. But in all it's a great way for public artist to show their colors and shine.

I didn't register for the event but I did take it upon meself to decorate 5 rail columns with some standard stencils I had handy just to ad unique quality to this event, lol

and a dumpter....

Scream Collage Fat Village 2010

A friend of mine "Green Lion" was asked to do a graf mural for the back drop of a theater show @ Studio ALA in FAT village. He asked if I wanted to take part and I agreed. I grabbed some old stencils I had cut and some aerosol. I came up with a simple design using my two scream stencils for one of the two side panels adding some rays and faded rays with masking tape. All in all a fun evening of painting with friends, and the out come.....5.....

Bad Girl's Club Season 5.....

In August 2010, myself, Kazilla, and several other locals artist took part in showing our work on the Bad Girls Club Miami, of course, Season 5. I do have to ask it was really interested see my work around the drunken debauchery of the bad girls.

I wonder on sometime what the girl's on the show thought of the work and the public in general.....

The only disadvantage was that the mural of my wife "Muse Again" got water logged during one of many girl fights on the show. It now is displayed in our home with memories only it retains.....
