This collaboration work with 213AOE , is a conceptual acknowledgment of the Art of Exaggeration and the unbalance it has produced in history. This series is a collection of attributes that demonstrates our drive as humans for exaggeration and how technology has advanced this search into reality. Weather positive or negative the outcome of such a trend , it’s here and ever evolving growing more extreme and exaggerated as time permits …..

 



The Coalition on Homelessness, San Francisco 2012

 

A friend of mine Sean Murdock invited me to join anevent where I donated a peice of work to help the homeless. I choose this work because this work represents the strife people face with drug addiction and alcoholism. This is a much more difficult area of life than most understand.

I donated this peice because to represents the indiference of alocohol abuse. It's created with 4 lbs bags one would get when purchaseing a quart of beer so the issue to definant.

 An amazing event probabely the first of it's kind in Fort Lauderdale, an actual Graf event where the city just stepped back and let art be art. Of course only to a point. The one bad thing about Graf expos is that they leave the artist open to interpreation by the police. Letting office take name and numbers as if this form of art is like gangbanging or other victim related crimes. But in all it's a great way for public artist to show their colors and shine.

I didn't register for the event but I did take it upon meself to decorate 5 rail columns with some standard stencils I had handy just to ad unique quality to this event, lol

Scream Collage Fat Village 2010

 

A friend of mine "Green Lion" was asked to do a graf mural for the back drop of a theater show @ Studio ALA in FAT village. He asked if I wanted to take part and I agreed. I grabbed some old stencils I had cut and some aerosol. I came up with a simple design using my two scream stencils for one of the two side panels adding some rays and faded rays with masking tape. All in all a fun evening of painting with friends, and the out come.....5.....

Bad Girl's Club Season 5.....

In August 2010, myself, Kazilla, and several other locals artist took part in showing our work on the Bad Girls Club Miami, of course, Season 5. I do have to ask it was really interested see my work around the drunken debauchery of the bad girls.

 

 

 

I wonder on sometime what the girl's on the show thought of the work and the public in general.....

 

 

 

The only disadvantage was that the mural of my wife "Muse Again" got water logged during one of many girl fights on the show. It now is displayed in our home with memories only it retains.....

I produced This mural work for Skiner T's Family. It was a respect. Work showing that no matter how small the encounter we can draw a huge understanding of a person and their personality. You can learn a lot from a chance encounter. I learned a lot from this man. He was one that showed me respect and honor at the same time. Many people in this circle clashed with me, in retrospect I had a dislike for many. I can say without question he was a true brother. I'm honored to be able to produce a work for his family. His kids deserve to know how stand up their farther was. Much respect and much sadness. I wish your family the best and offer them my hand if they need it.....5......

What is beauty? is it an abstraction of our mental understanding of sexuality or just a manipulating tactic to make people judge each other? Decisions and reason can alter different elements of one life. Creating obstacles, difficult to overcome, or pathways, that are easily walked upon. These chances one takes also creates temporary changes or other everlasting, but all changes are notable. If one lets certain elements of our personality run these decision it's very possible that one will start to create obstacles that are life changing and permanent. Ego is a bad friend that sits upon your shoulder.....

STRANGER DANGER - CHILD ABDUCTIONS : Would Anyone Help Your Child When B...

The older I get the more in tune I become on some of the more silent thing we as humans are responsible for. We take our careers and our lives as paramount and leave out the fact that some things need to be acted upon. I remember a traumatic situation in my young adulthood that made me really think about this. I was drive down a highway with several friend after a party. We notice a boy laying on the side of the highway and pulled over. By the time we arrive at the boy several other people were standing around in a circle, examining, questioning, but no one doing anything including myself and my friends. The boy was clearly dead but still no one reacted. How often do we as humans fail our fellow humans by not reacting? May it be a child being abducted or a woman in distress, or a man helpless? I failed two people and I can't look myself in the mirror. I failed my wife by not expressing the extreme disrespect other were giving her, and I failed my G by not fighting harder. At this point I can only hope my wife forgives me and my G stays safe. THIS STATEMENT MIGHT SOUND STRANGE, BUT DON’T STAND BY AND WATCH TRAGITIY BE APART OF IT. LISTEN, REACT, AND BE HUMAN…..5……

Fort Lauderdale Park Art Bombing 2012

During the monthly Jass Brunch, That I attend frequently at esplanade park here in Fort Lauderdale, I want to do a quick experiment with art and community. I decided early in the morning the day of the event to hang several peices in a wood area next to the band shell, just to see what would happen and who might show interest. I also want to see if anyone might take to work, even though they do not know it's free for the taking. Partly and experiment ontrust, partly an experiment on esthetic. Is this a space where people respect art or it's this environment different and as a result the same people that might respect art in a gallery might walk by without a glace?????

Here is what I hung. I wants to stay a bit darker, based on the general community at the event I wanted to most responce even if that might be negative it would work toward my experiment.

Experiments conclusion: Not what I expected. There was no interest directed toward the artwork at all. Almost like they had blinders on and the only directive they were after that day was wine and jazz. Even worse almost like they were not even aware of their surroundings, with such a beautiful park off the water. Now I will say the art I posted was not my best work, at all. I was strictly some old peices I never liked and some test work I was playing around with. I was just extremely interested to see art realated people show no interest in art misplaced in a park. I think I might need to continue this experiment in different areas or maybe a this prak during different dates?? None the less interesting.....5......
